Training is a rigorous process designed to build real competence and genuine self-reliance. Our objective is to develop divers who are qualified to plan and conduct safe, independent dives without relying on a guide. Cave, technical and CCR training require strong foundational skills, precise buoyancy, self-awareness and the right mindset.
Every training plan is adapted to the diver’s experience and demonstrated performance. The published number of days is a minimum based on performance appropriate to the course entry level. Additional classroom or in-water sessions may be required to meet the objectives and may carry an additional daily fee.
TDI teaching philosophy
Technical Diving International training is grounded in proactive risk management, practical real-world execution and continuous innovation.
NSS-CDS teaching philosophy
The National Speleological Society–Cave Diving Section is committed to the safe and proper enjoyment of the cave environment. Its training philosophy recognizes that properly trained cave divers are more capable of protecting themselves and of reducing damage to irreplaceable underwater cave systems.
One connected journey
Dive Rite México and ZOTZ share one purpose: helping divers go farther with the right experience, training and equipment. ZOTZ leads dives, courses and expeditions. Dive Rite México brings specialized equipment knowledge shaped by the same environments we explore. Together, they create one continuous path—from the first dive plan to demanding cave, technical and expedition objectives.
Why these standards matter
Our work promotes the importance of healthy ecosystems, from the sea to underwater caves. We take people to extraordinary places so they can discover, learn, care and understand why these environments must be preserved. High-level training, carefully designed expeditions, professional photography and filmmaking are tools that serve that purpose.
When a single day is not enough, personalized programs can combine training, lodging and transportation for five, seven or nine days according to the diver’s level and objectives.
